Get paid to care for a loved one in Michigan through Home Help
The Michigan Home Help Program, run by MDHHS, pays caregivers who help a Medicaid member with daily living at home. The caregiver can be a relative, friend, or neighbor.
What it pays
Up to $17.13 an hour as an individual caregiver, for up to about 180 hours a month.
Who qualifies
The person receiving care has Medicaid and needs hands on help with at least one daily task. The caregiver can be an adult child, sibling, grandchild, other relative, friend, or neighbor, but not a spouse and not a parent of a minor child.
